The growth of Mobile impression is so fast that it has increased by 21 percent on the InMobi network in just 90 days. This has been mainly due to a whooping 34 percent growth of smartphones. Android OS is all set to become the leader with 40 percent share as many big companies like Samsung, HTC and Motorola is leading the way with handsets based on this open source platform.

In the fourth quarter of 2010, android became leading operating system defeating Nokia’s Symbian. The tremendous growth has been due to many vendors including Samsung, HTC and Motorola vigorously promoting their smartphones based on

Android platform and almost doubling their smartphone market share. The investors have also benefited tremendously with the growth of this open source platform. With the announcement of a $5 million fund to help the small companies to shift their applications on android mobile platform, by mobile monetization company Tapjoy, android mobile platform is all set to have a very vibrant and brilliant future as even small companies will use android platform for their business.

Moving even further, Google nexus, well known for its high quality android devices over the past two years, has decided to upgrade to Nexus 4G. It’s in rumor that Nexus 4G will have dual core Snapdragon processor and also run Android 4.0 “Ice Cream Sandwich”. Just like Google’s past Nexus devices, it’s most likely that it will be the first phone bundled with the new operating system.
